YASMINE SAMAAN, Co-Founder
Yasmine Samaan, co-founder of Champions Franco Inc. Yasmine is a passionate Ontario certified teacher with 20 years of experience in the private and public school systems. She grew up in a francophone country where she completed her early studies.
Yasmine holds a bilingual Bachelor of Arts, majored in Psychology (Glendon, York University). In addition, she holds a Bachelor of Education (Faculté d’éducation, Université d’Ottawa) as well as a Master of Education (Leadership, Evaluation, Curriculum and Policy Studies, Faculté d’éducation, Université d’Ottawa).
NERMINE GORAB, Sr. Consultant
Nermine Gorab is the co-founder and currently a senior consultant of Champions Franco Inc. Nermine Gorab is a dedicated Ontario certified French teacher and Reading specialist with over 15 years of extensive experience in both private and public school systems. She has completed her elementary and secondary studies in the French private school system.
Nermine holds a bachelor degree in French Literature as well as a bachelor degree of Education (Université Laurentienne). Her unique mix of education, work experience, and professional development qualifications (French as a Second Language and Reading Specialist, Université Laurentienne) has provided her with in-depth knowledge in the area of language development for children.
Mme Mina, Teacher
Mme Mina holds a PhD in French and Comparative Literature and brings 20 years of experience teaching French as a second language, including more than a decade of teaching at the university level.
Her experience also includes ten years of teaching teenagers at a school accredited by the French Embassy, where she prepared students for the DELF Junior and DELF scolaire examinations. Today, Mme Mina works with a diverse range of learners, from teenagers to adults, in Canada.
Highly regarded for her strong ability to connect with students, Mme Mina creates an engaging and supportive learning environment that helps learners build both confidence and proficiency in French.
She is also a certified TEF examiner through the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI Paris Île de France), combining her strong academic background with extensive experience in French language instruction and assessment.
Mme Sarvi, Teacher
Mme Sarvi is an experienced French teacher with a demonstrated history of working in the professional training and coaching industry.
She has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in French Language and Literature from Shahid Beheshti University in Iran and 8 years of teaching French as a second language in different schools including the Cultural Center of the Embassy of France in Iran.
As a polyglot, Mme Sarvi is passionate about learning languages and reading novels and poems. She is also a huge fan of Ashtanga yoga, meditation, and mindfulness.
Mme Aghajan, Teacher
Mme Aghajan is a fully bilingual Montessori and ECE-certified teacher with over 25 years experience of teaching and tutoring French in private institutions in Ontario.
Additionally, she has several certifications relating to child behaviour and special needs from the Toronto Catholic School Board. Mme Aghajan is a life learner who is always keeping up to date on the newest theories and practices relating to teaching and child development.
Prior to immigrating to Canada, Mme Aghajan was a French language instructor in North Africa (Algeria). When she is not teaching, she enjoys painting, classical music, yoga, art and cooking.
Mme Pitcher, Teacher
Mme Pitcher is an internationally experienced, multilingual professional with a unique combination of skills and capabilities acquired during a diverse and highly rewarding teaching career.
She is an experienced language teacher with a talent for identifying ways to differentiate teaching to accommodate learning styles according to individual student needs.
Mme Pitcher enjoys being part of, as well as managing, motivating, and training successful teams and thrives in highly challenging environments.

Mme Léa, Teacher
Mme Léa, is a passionate French educator with several years of experience teaching children in both private and group settings. A Francophone and fully bilingual in French and English, she has been immersed in French education from a young age and brings a strong command of the language to her teaching.
She enjoys working with children and is dedicated to creating a positive and engaging learning environment where students can strengthen their French skills, build confidence, and feel comfortable expressing themselves in French.
Mme Léa is currently pursuing a university degree in Space Engineering. Beyond the classroom, she has a passion for the arts and enjoys oil painting and exploring her creativity.
Mme Chiraz, Teacher
Fina, Teacher Assistant
As a former French Immersion student, Fina is fully bilingual and brings a strong command of French, along with a natural ability to connect with younger students. Having earned her DELF B2 certification, she has developed excellent French communication skills and is interested in continuing her French studies at the postsecondary level.
As an Assistant Teacher at Champions Franco, Fina supports students throughout their learning while helping create a positive, engaging, and encouraging classroom environment. As the eldest of four children and a longtime volunteer with the academy, she is comfortable working with children of different ages and enjoys helping them build confidence in their French skills.
Outside of Champions Franco, Fina is an active member of her school’s Student Council, where she continues to strengthen her leadership and teamwork skills. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and looks forward to continuing to grow as an educator while sharing her enthusiasm for the French language.
Ella, Teacher Assistant
In addition, Ella has a babysitting certificate and has been volunteering in Kids French reading and writing clubs.
Growing up, our team has been surrounded by French culture, which inspired all of us and shaped our teaching philosophy.
We are passionate educators and strongly believe that a solid foundation in all areas of our French programs is the recipe for success. Year after year, our unique designed methods have enabled our students to fall in love with the French language and now it has become the foundation of the Champions Franco Academy.
As experts in French literacy, Champions Franco team strive to offer their students a unique and remarkable learning experience. It has been our greatest joy to see our students achieve exceptional levels of oral and written proficiency in French starting at young age.
